The Research On The Process Of The Presentation Of Self In Wechat Of College Students

With the development of society,new media information technology is rapidly developing,and there comes a new way of communication.One of them is the WeChat,which has attracted large amount of customers.The communication on WeChat has become an extension of everyday communication.WeChat plays a vital role in people's social interactions,especially for young college students.People always hope show their best to others,to make a good impression in the daily life,so does in WaChat.And we called the process self-presentation.Through the qualitative interview of the college students WaChat users and textual analysis of the WaChat,the author tries to show the process of self presentation of college students WeChat users.The research shows that college Students' self presentation onWeChat can be roughly divided into three stages,characterization;stage-performance and impression management.The first two parts are reflected by texts,pictures,videos,Web links and other symbols,and the last part is achieved by the group chat and the interaction in the friend-circle with friends of WaChat.In each stage,there is a specific implementation method,but there is only one aim,which is to achieve an ideal impression management.Through the study of WeChat self-presentation process,it can help us understand the significance of self-presentation and the inner needs of young college students,so that we can propagate ideological and political education more targeted.Only by understanding the process and to cater to the young students' self WeChat presentation,young students can play a role in the network to a greater extent,by the social mainstream values "like" and repost,so that each user of the WeChat can become a university student Social communicators conscious mainstream values,thereby enabling the socialist core values exhibit avalanche transfer mode.
