With the development of the automated test system, the modern electronic laboratory is requested more strickly to the precision, the stability and the control performance of the power supply. Many kinds of automated testing instruments and equipments can together through the communication network. They complete the whole test process by the program. To meet the needs of enterprise production, this thesis design a programmable DC power supply.Based on meet the precision of the voltage and the current, this thesis through the SCPI protocol realizes the process control of the power supply. The main research of this paper is as follows:first, this paper describes the research status and the application of the linear DC power supply and the SCPI at home and abroad. It detail describes the various SCPI command. Then it gives the general design of the power supply and the all parts of hardware design basen on the analysis of the power supply specification. Finally it designs the software for the various modules of the power supply, including the rapid transmission of data,A/D,D/A,the realization of the bootloader.Using the three-stage analysis to control the calibration data.By the binary tree chain structure realize the SCPI comnand input and execution. This power supply has been successfully developed and applied to the production practice. The end shows that all technical datas of the power supply in conformity with the specifications. It can fully meet the actual needs.Combine with the SCPI and the linear DC power supply, the design can realize the remote control of the power.Compatible with the other test instruments, ensure this power supply stability,intelligent,multi-functional,compatiblity.
