In industrial process, temperature control with high accuracy is important to improve product quality and ensure the yield of the product. However, the conventional PID temperature controller used now is time varying and nonlinear which has large thermal inertia and jitter after the setting temperature is achieved. Therefore, improving the accuracy and stability of temperature control system attract a lot of attention of researchers. With the development of fuzzy control,a precise mathematical model can be built independent of the controlled object. In addition, fuzzy control has the advantages of good robustness, good dynamic performance, strong anti-interference ability. In this thesis,,we combine fuzzy control with PID control to improve the accuracy and stability of PID control system. The designed system has good flexibility, adaptability and high accuracy.In this thesis, parallel fuzzy PID control method was used in the temperature control system. When the deviation between the actual temperature and the setting value is significant, the fuzzy control method was used to increase the speed of response; When the temperature is close to the setting temperature, the PID control was used to improve the static performance. A micro controller unit(MCU) was used to simulate the fuzzy PID temperature control system. In the simulation, the temperature signals after A/D conversion was input to MCU, after the fuzzy PID algorithm, the output signal was transferred to multiple module circuit of the control system to intelligently control the temperature.
