We put forward the following there control methods in order to adapt the largechanging of dynamic model of steam temperature control system: 1). An intelligentfuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy is put in this paper. The parameters of PIDcontroller are divided into primary tuning and fine-tuning. The primary tuning is based on thegenerating unit load;it can adapt the great range changing of operating point. In order to adaptthe small range changing of operating point and overcome all kinds of disturbances, thefine-tuning is based on performance index of the system. 2). A new fuzzy internal modelcontrol strategy for nonlinear complex control system is put Firstly we use T-S fuzzy model todescribe the complex control system, then use the interior model control strategy to get T-Sfuzzy controller. 3).A general approach is proposed to design a mixed H2/H∞ optimal PIDcontroller via Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO). We can give the stabilizing domain of PIDcontroller parameters for given plant. Inside this stability domain, the optimal set of controllerparameters was obtained by PSO.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control strategies have high feasibility,robustness and practical value.
