Fuzzy control is a new control method based on fuzzy sets theory and it is formed by the combined fuzzy sets theory, fuzzy technology and automatic control technology. From birth of fuzzy control lots of explorative and creative research and application achievements have been obtained. Now fuzzy control idea has been a widely used method for thinking problems.Although fuzzy control in engineering applications has been widely used, there are still many practical problems have not been resolved, including the rules of fuzzy control access and parameter settings, fuzzy control of the various multivariable coupling system, as well as exaltation of fuzzy control steady-state accuracy, and so on. If these problems are not resolved it will limite further promotion of fuzzy control.This paper is a summary of my fuzzy control technology and application of the fuzzy control. Its main contents are about the research of the fuzzy control theory and its practical applications. The objective is improving the performance of traditional fuzzy control, expanding the scope of application of fuzzy control, and using new fuzzy control methods to solve the practice project control problems.Aimed at engineering applications of fuzzy control and above several key issues in applications, the following aspects of fuzzy control have been done:(1) The development and current status of fuzzy control research is presented and several problems of fuzzy control application are summarized.(2) Aimed at access of fuzzy control rules and parameter optimization problem, combining with fuzzy control, simulated annealing and genetic algorithms, a new genetic algorithm, fuzzy adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithm, is presented. It is used for fuzzy controller parameters optimization and its convergence, convergence speed and the prevention of "premature" phenomenon of the standard genetic algorithm are analyzed.(3) Aimed at fuzzy control solutions for multivariable coupling system, a fuzzy method of decoupling compensation is presented, and its decoupling ability is studied. Rules and parameters of fuzzy decoupling compensation controller can be optimized through genetic algorithm. (4) Aimed at shortcomings of fuzzy control that steady-state accuracy is not high, some work has been done. For cyclical movement objects fuzzy-iterative learning hybrid control method is presented with fuzzy control method and iterative learning control method. For servo objects grey prediction fuzzy compensation control method is presented with fuzzy control method and grey prediction control method. Some simulation research work of above two methods has been done.(5) Fuzzy controller based on fuzzy adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithm optimazation and fuzzy compensation decoupling are used in temperature and humidity control of artificial climate chest. A temperature and humidity control model of artificial climate chest is given. This object has the characteristics of strong coupling, multi-variable, non-linear. A fuzzy compensation decoupling method is presented and its rules and parameters are optimized using above fuzzy adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithm. The experimental study and practical control results proved the effectiveness of this method. Finally, design and product of temperature and humidity controller for artificial climate chest based on this method are given.(6) Some research work of fuzzy control application in the control of the injection molding machine system had been done. Fuzzy - iterative learning control method is used to control injection position servo control system of injection molding machine. Fuzzy control and fuzzy compensation decoupling methods are used in barrels temperature control of injection molding machine. Mathematical Model of Injection Molding Machine barrels temperature object is a non-linear, strong coupling and uncertainty object. High speed, high accuracy, small overshoot of barrels temperature control in precision injection process are required, so barrels temperature control is very difficult. Based on fuzzy compensation decoupling control method, fuzzy control is used to decouple and compensate temperature control objects of the injection molding machine barrels, accuracy and stability of the temperature control of the injection molding machine barrels was improved. Lastly, design and the actual product of injection molding machine controller was given. Above gray prediction fuzzy compensation control method is applied in position servo control system of the injection molding machine manipulator. This study is hoped to provide some useful information for fuzzy control theory and its applications research.
