As the urbanization continues to expand, a large number of migrant population influx in city, the crowded city is facing great challenges and various factors of fire are increasing.The soletraditional methods and meanscannot meet the need of the fire work any more, fire prevention work must advance with the times. Today internet has witnesses the rapid development, the modern fire protection requirements must depend Itshall be widely used in the construction of fire team.From the current situation of Taiyuan City, the migrant population is more and the high fire index is high. information are filed by paper, which is not conducive to the analysis and summary of pre fire work judgment. Taiyuan residents have no access to the distribution of Taiyuan city's fire site and they can hardly timely contact the nearest fire station. In daily life, they can only learn the emergency solutions and knowledge by some other ways, which is not systematic, the whole city fire cause calls for further information.The establishment of fire information system of Taiyuan city based on GIScan improve the Taiyuan fire protection industry management and service level so as to improve the city fire protection system, which is of great significance to the development of the city and improvement of people's life happiness index.This paper expounds the development process of Taiyuan fire information system based on GIS, from the early market research, demand analysis, and then to the late system development, function implementation and system testing are done in detail. The fire information system of Taiyuan city based on GIS is composed of four function modules,which basically meet the needs of the fire service in Taiyuan city. The four modules are fire site queries, the function module for the fire department personnel and the public, provided by the name of fuzzy query, query two query patterns by region; the fire information management, the module of open access to the fire department personnel, including the function of fire information collection, display and icon generation. And the entry of newfire rescue information; peripheral part of the query, firefighters opened to the public, which do not need to login to access the query. The surrounding rescue site and the surrounding query surrounding fire ambulance inquiries can provide the input position(the default location for users) all fire stations or hospitals within the range of 5000 meters around the query; rescue route planning, the module open to firefighters, providing the best plan according to the position of the rapid rescuewithin 5000 meters around so as to reduce time consumption, ensuring that the rescue forces arrived at the first time, thus reducing casualties and property damage caused by the fire.
