The Study On The Development Status And Developing Tendency Of XJBS

Nowadays, the research and transformation of traditional media become a hot topic in the field of communication which attract high attention from all walks of life as new media technology is developing rapidly. As one of the three major traditional media, radio is marginalized as is generally accepted that it becomes a weak medium. However, some minority nationalities areas such as Xinjiang have particularity in politics, economics,culture and religious belief. As a provincial station in Xinjiang, Xinjiang People's Broadcasting Station plays a very crucial and indispensable role in media and owns its special advantages. This thesis studies the development history and trajectory of Xinjiang People's Broadcasting Station based upon the special environment and background of Xinjiang. It illustrates the current situation of Xinjiang People's Broadcasting Station through investigation and research and analyzes the positive media role which Xinjiang People's Broadcasting Station plays in Xinjiang as well as the existing problems. On the basis of media value theory as traditional media, Xinjiang People's Broadcasting Station shall adapt itself to new environment and devote itself to the development of Xinjiang.What is more, some suggestions are proposed on the necessary exploration innovation and practice reform of media development.
