According to the management status and new requirements for strengthening internal cooperation and enhancing management level, a certain water service company group put forward designing and developing "water service lean management system" based on the Six Sigma idea, which can enable the group's business management to be excellent continuously. In the group's opinion, they wants to find major problems and weak links forwardly based on this system. Therefore, problems were chosen and identified by using the Six Sigma management method in the system. Each task for solving problems is treated as a Six Sigma project, and each task is set clear goal at the beginning, the subsequent solving process is divided into five stages including definition, measure, analysis, improvement and control. Each stage has concrete techniques and tools to complete particular task. When the tasks are completed, the improvement of cost and benefit must be accounted and summarized. Based on using the water service lean management system, the group can improve its management level through solving problems and getting clear business management income.Aiming at the management requirements of a certain water service group, Six Sigma management theory was described in this thesis. For meeting these requirements, a B/S architecture was applied to design and achieve water service lean management system combining with the technique Spring MVC+Spring IoC+ myBatis framework.The system is divided into five functional modules, which are data analysis module, project process management module, project evaluation management module, project information management module and basic settings management module. The main roles of the system are divided into three categories including project managers, project members and chief. In the data analysis module, the leader can analyze the current and past business data and find business problems and management loopholes. In project process management module, the manager of the system fill in project information through corresponding menu. The system can distinguish between required information and optional information. Project information is examined and verified by the chief, and the verified results including return to repair or audit pass is fed back to the project manager. Project members only have the authority of viewing. Project evaluation management module is carried out by using the style of systematizing. All the process including submit, approve, reapprove and pass is attended by the project manager and chief. The project information management module is used to manage the past project information records, model library of expert knowledge, and so on. The basic settings management module include setting operation of departments, personnel and other basic information.The page design of the system have great advantages such as simple design, strong interaction and convenient operation, which can make the system users grasp using the system quickly. After realizing all the functions, the system was tested carefully, and several improvements were made according to the test results. At present, the system was completed within the specified time, and has been used in the water service group successfully, which has obtained good using effects.
