The Analysis Of The Data Journalism’s Discourse And Practice

The rapid development of digital transmission technology has changed the media ecological environment,news production is change accordingly,under the impact of the new media,such as data journalism has become the beautiful landscape of the press in recent years,which provides us with an window to understand the change of news production in the new media environment.Data journalism has become a hotter topic in the press and academic circles,and well-known media such as the New York times,the Washington post,the guardian,Xinhua,CCTV all report news with the use of data journalism,and the researches related to data journalism began to appear and grow rapidly.So choose the data journalism as the research object,not only has theoretical significance and practical significance.At present,the relevant data journalism research mainly focus on the business level,this kind of research is very important for us to understand and know the data journalism,but the impact on the academic significance and values of data journalism mining is still very insufficient,lack of in-depth study.Discourse analysis and field theory provide a more diverse research perspective and research framework for data journalism research,this paper mainly on the basis of the theory of discourse analysis and field,and with the help of abundant data journalism reported cases,analyzing the data of news discourse and practice.This article is trying to make a "panoramic" outline for data journalism,the research will be carried in three dimensions.The first is micro level of the data discourse narrative analysis,summarizing the subject construction,the narrative structure,narrative subject,narrative perspective,narrative style,narrative rhetoric and so on the characteristics of the data journalism.The second is the medium level of news discourse practice analysis,putting the data journalism practice in the news field,we’ ll find that the data journalism is a kind of strategy in discourse and action for journalists to adapt to the new structure characteristics of the news field,the data journalism reconstructed the news production processes,the newsroom’s reorganization,and reshaped the media’s relationship with the news sources and the audience.To a certain extent the power relations in the news production had been reconstructed,elite discourse power is reduced,journalists can report news better with the professional spirit.The third is from the macro level of social practice to analyze its influence on news discourse practice,the change of society and the social discourse for the data journalism discourse and practice provides a deep power support,the most significant influence on data journalism of the change of social matrix include technicalization,democratization and commercialization.At the same time,news discourse practice as part of the social practice,also promoted the social and the construction of social discourse,and news reports not only to construct the ideology of the society,but also promoted the social technicalization,democratization and commercialization process.
