The rapid development of digital technology and network technology gives birth to the new media.The new media influences people's life greatly,with broad development prospect.In this situation,Newspaper Groups will focus on the new media development inevitably,and the share of the new media business will grow larger and larger.For customers,they hope that the new media can meet their more individual needs.So all Newspaper Groups are actively developing their new media business,through providing better service to customers in the new media to realize business expansion and profit increase.In this study,we make an analysis to the internal and external environment of the new media business in S Newspaper Group,target its potential market in STP marketing theories,and optimize its marketing strategy with the 4P marketing concept.The product strategy proposes to extend traditional paper media brand,improve customer loyalty,maintain hotspot and attention,and increase customer participation.The pricing strategy proposes principled and differentiated new media business pricing strategy.The channel strategy proposes to set up governmental and provincial information channels,regroup life and service sectors,and adapt industrial chains with each other.The promotion strategy proposes to strengthen advertising promotion and enlarge public relations activities.The new media business with fewer resources use can meet various customer demands,expand public media influence and improve economic benefit,which only depends on existing rich resources,well-known brand,professional editorial team and original promotional channels of the Newspaper Group.Therefore,the new media business has become an increasingly important development field.We hope this study can provide directions and experience for the new media business of the Newspaper Group.
