The development of news practice shows that subjectivity is inevitable in news narration. The narrator's perspective, affect and epistemic modality are subjective. In this paper, the method of text analysis and illustration are used to finding the means to express the subjectivity of news narrative text. The article consists of five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the origin of the topic, research status at home and abroad and the value of the research. The second chapter explains the subjectivity of language and news narration, in order to explain the inevitability of subjectivity in news narration. The third chapter analyzes how the linguistic units embody subjectivity, pointing out that verbs, adjectives and modal words convey narrator's own position and understanding of the events. Nominalization of predicate can reduce tensions by deleting the participants; therefore it is also means of expression of subjectivity. At the same time, different sentence patterns are related to the narrator's position and understanding, so they also imply subjectivity. The fourth chapter explains subjectivity of the structure of news narration, including the elements and the principle of news narration structure. The last analyzes how quote and metaphor express subjectivity in news narration. The paper finds that the choice of language unit, the structure of the text and the way of rhetoric are the means of expression of subjectivity, conveying the position, viewpoint and affect of the narrator. This will help the narrator use the means to express subjectivity more reasonably and realize the social function of news. Also it will help the audience to be rational in the face of huge amounts of news and information, forming his own judgment and understanding.
