The application of computer technology in agriculture is more and more extensive, crop diseases and insect pests diagnosis system which is based on embedded and Internet technology has been gradually applied to all aspects of agricultural production. The prevention and control of plant diseases and insect pests is a very important link in the process of agricultural production and it's closely related with the quality and yield of crop. For this purpose, studying and developing crops diseases and insect pests diagnosis system which using modern computer technology, Internet technology, embedded system technology is very necessary.On account of the above requirements, after summarizing and analyzing diagnostic technology of crops diseases and insect pests at home and abroad, a kind of crops diseases and insect pests diagnosis system is put forward and designed to provide strong reference for the research and development of crop pests and diseases diagnostic system in this paper, this system is based on the Internet of things technology, wireless communication technology, embedded technology,intelligent expert system technology, wireless sensor technology and video monitoring technology, et.Terminal system takes the embedded S3C2440 A microprocessor as the core of the system, it disposes collect environmental parameters, video, images, and multi-sensor signals and realizes the data interaction with the remote monitoring center client by server. The application of this system is developed on the embedded Linux operating system platform, its software uses Qt/E programming, crossing compiler, et. Its main functions include the video capture and transmission of the environmental parameters and the realtime monitoring of temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, et. The server mainly completes a variety of algorithms and functions through useing the information collected by the terminal system and the parameters given by the client system to realize the expert diagnosis system. Remote experts use expert diagnosis system to diagnose crop diseases and insect pests by accessing to web server via client to collect other environmental parameters of video control, PTZ camera control andtemperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration and video image characteristics that captured by the PTZ camera.This paper first analyzes the present situation of crop pests prevention and diagnosising system, the significance of developing the system and the goal of this research, then it takes the facility agriculture greenhouse as an example to introduce the structure of crop diseases and insect pests system, overall scheme and key technology in the process of system implementation. The client users are required to adapt identify diagnostic mode, make the characteristics match between the plant diseases and insect pests real-time collected with the types of diseases and insect pests in expert database according to the types of crops in the greenhouse, the location of the disease, the characteristic of diseases and insect pests to diagnose the current plant diseases and insect pests, then feedback the potential threat and treatment of plant diseases and insect pests to the user detailedly.
