Since the introduction of modeling and simulation technology based on Modelica language, it has been widely used in design of complex product and optimization analysis. Modelica model, as an approximate system of the real object, its ability to meet the requirements of credibility is directly related to success of practical analysis and decision-making. With the application of modeling and simulation technology based on Modelica in the field of engineering deeply, the requirements of credibility evaluation of Modelica model are also strengthening constantly. Therefore, this dissertation focuses on the key questions of influencing factors and evaluation methods of credibility.Firstly, through analyzing the research status of Modelica application and simulation credibility, the basic theory is summarized. The concept, characters of credibility and reason of failure simulation are introduced. And the modeling process and characteristics of the Modelica model are described in detail.Secondly, combining with the modeling process, the factors affecting the model credibility of the modeling stage are researched in the V&V method, and the corresponding methods of verification are put forward.Thirdly, according to the characteristic of hierarchical modeling with Modelica, credibility assessment framework and algorithm architecture are established. And aimed at uncertainty and fuzziness during the evaluation process, and the limitation of the existing assessment methods in the web environment, an improved method based on Group FAHP to evaluate credibility is proposed. Finally, the functional requirements of credibility evaluation on web platform are analyzed, and a preliminary design for the function realization module has been done. Then taking an automobile transmission system model as an example, a detailed evaluation process of credibility is introduced.
