Modelica-based modeling and simulation technology is widely used in the design andengineering analysis of complex products, for the reason that Modelica language supportsgeneral modeling of multi-domain physical system. As the development of the informationand Internet technology, research on the multi-domain modeling and simulation has beenfocused on networked modeling and simulation. Currently, domestic and foreignmulti-domain modeling and simulation systems in the networked environment merelydistribute the interface and compiler of a simulation software system to the two ends of theInternet, using existed model library organization based on file index of the simulationsoftware system. They all cannot support online modeling and simulation and modelmanagement. At present, model management strategy supporting both user’s modelmanagement and online modeling and simulation has not appeared yet.Aiming at the defect of existed multi-domain modeling and simulation systems, theprinciple of the Modelica model organization and the feature of multi-domain modeling andsimulation software have been analyzed in the thesis. A networked Modelica modelmanagement framework in networked environment is proposed combining with networktechnology. The main contents of the thesis are as follow: a networked management modelof Modelica model object is raised. A model management structure combing database andfile storage is proposed to support users’ access, sharing and managing of the models. Keytechnologies as: model library management, model library initialization, model and modellibrary version control etc. are realized. In the model management framework, the new model organization’s support of theModelica compiler is realized according to the loading procedure of the Modelica compiler;the storage of the model’s display information to support model display is researched; ascheme based on the combination of model management service, simulation service andmodel service is proposed to realize users’ online modeling and simulation in Internetbrowser and model management. At last, a multi-domain modeling and simulation platform in networked environment isrealized on the basis of the model and simulation service management architecture. The logical structure and development scenario of the platform is discussed. A modeling andsimulation procedure of a multi-domain model is demonstrated to display the function ofthe simulation platform.
