Remote calibration technology is an advanced technology which develops based ontraditional calibration technology and with the combination of instrument technology,intelligent detection technology and computer technology. It has the advantages of improvingcalibration efficiency, reducing calibration cost and expanding measurement assuranceprogram. The thesis study has an important academic value and practical significance for thepromotion of development and application of remote calibration technology and intelligentdetection technology. The research work is funded by Guangdong Project for Scientific andTechnological Planning(2007B030803001), the Ministry of Education Support Program forNew Century Excellent Talent (No.NCET-08-0211) and Guangdong Province Institutions ofHigher Education High-qualified Talents Project.Beginning with the basic structure and basic requirements of remote calibration system,the key problems of remote calibration system are analyzed in the paper. The researchprogress at home and abroad of calibration system model, access control method, integrityverification method and credibility evaluation method are reviewed generally to decide theresearch contents of this paper. The main research works in this paper include:(1) An universal remote calibration system model based on transaction named T-RCS isstudied. The model has the characteristics of simplifying calibration operation at calibrationsite, high calibration result efficiency, high degree of remote calibration automation and goodversatility. The universal calibration transaction representation oriented to multiple objects ofT-RCS namedMT RCSis derived. The improving method of calibration transaction editingefficiency which is used to improve the calibration transaction editing efficiency formetrology workers is studied. The information model which is used to provide reference forthe function design and data information logic model design of T-RCS basic system is builtby the method of DFD and E-R diagram method. The implementation method of T-RCS basicsystem is studied, and a T-RCS basic system implementation example is given.(2) A kind of access control model for remote calibration operation named TCBAC is studied, it can avoid fraud effectively and assure the remote calibration operations are doneaccording to the related calibration regulations or specifications. The authorization constraintsand execution constraints for TCBAC model are designed. The characteristics of taskauthorization and task execution of TCBAC model are analyzed by the method of formaldescription. A broadcast-based task authorization mechanism named BBTAM and astate-based task execution mechanism named SBTEM are studied based on the characteristicsof task authorization and task execution of TCBAC model. The application method ofTCBAC model is studied and the credibility effect of TCBAC model is validated. TheTCBAC model is applied to the remote calibration system named T-RCS and the applicationcredibility effect is analyzed.(3) A kind of integrity verification method for remote calibration system named VTSBIVis studied, it can validate the correctness and normalization of remote calibration key elementsand calibration process effectively and guarantee the credibility of remote calibration. The keytechnologies of realizing VTSBIV method are studied. According to the characteristic that itcan predict calibration process by calibration commands in remote calibration system, a kindof calibration process image acquisition method based on calibration command index isstudied. According to that the remote calibration system environment is Internet open networkenvironment, a kind of timestamp construction method of remote calibration integrityverification based on time calibration in network is studied. The integrity verification methodof remote calibration data based on SHA-1is studied, it can detect whether the calibrationcommand data, the calibration result data and the verification material of calibrationinstruments and calibration process are changed conveniently. The application method ofVTSBIV is studied and the credibility effect of VTSBIV is validated. The VTSBIV method isapplied to the remote calibration system named T-RCS and the application credibility effect isanalyzed.(4) A kind of credibility evaluation model of remote calibration system based on AHPand interval number fuzzy evaluation named AIBCE is studied, it’s used to evaluate thecapability of remote calibration system to provide credible remote calibration and provide the standard and reference for metrology organizations to implement and deploy a remotecalibration system. The key technologies of realizing AIBCE model are studied. Theevaluation index system of remote calibration system credibility is built based on AHP. Theremote calibration system credibility evaluation method based on interval number fuzzyevaluation is studied. The application method of AIBCE model is studied, the credibility ofthree remote calibration systems is compared by using AIBCE model.A common credible remote calibration system named T-RCS+is developed based on thekey technologies of remote calibration system which are T-RCS, TCBAC and VTSBIV.T-RCS+was used to do some calibration experiments in Guangdong institute of metrology.The application results show that T-RCS+meets the the demands of universality,practicability and credibility of remote calibration. It can realize remote calibration formultiple instruments, the calibration operation is convenient and easy. It also can control theprivileges of remote calibration operators reasonably, avoid fraud and assure remotecalibration operations are done according to the related calibration regulations orspecifications. And it can validate the correctness and normalization of calibration commanddata, calibration result data, calibration instruments and calibration process of remotecalibration.
