Pulsed power technology is widely used in military and in dustrial fields. In the military field, such as high power radar, space power, electromagnetic ejection, electromagnetic weapons, laser and so on, the research is more mature. In dustrial fields, pulsed power technology as a new technology has broad application prospects in the fields of metal surface treatment, pollution control, laser application, semiconductor processing and so on. With the development of technology, the industry has put forward higher requirements in the aspects of compact structure, repetitive frequency, pulse voltage accuracy and so on. Under the background, this paper studies and designs a high voltage pulse power supply based on Marx structure for the treatment of waste gas and waste water.The characteristic of the pulsed power technology is introduced, and the significance of the research and the development of the domestic and foreign countries are illustrated. Then according to the requirement of the pulsed power supply, the system is divided into three levels, the rectifying circuit, the charging circuit, the pulse circuit. Comparing of various topologies and control algorithm, the rectifying circuit with the active power factor correction, the charging circuit with phase shift full bridge and the Marx circuit with DSP driver are decided. The hardware circuit of each level and the interaction with human are analyzed and designed in detail. According to the parameters of the circuit design, the rectifying circuit and the charging circuit is mathematical modeling. The stability of the system is explained by the transfer function. The stability of Marx circuit is analyzed. At last, the feasibility, stability and validity of the system are determined by simulation and test.The high voltage pulsed power supply is studied and designed based on the application of pulsed power technique in this paper. By improving the Marx structure, the inductor is used to separate the charging circuit and Marx circuit, and the diode separates Marx circuit of each level. So it can isolate the loss at the charging time, and improve the efficiency of the system. At the same time, the voltage of pulse can be regulated accurately by controlling the charging circuit.
