The control technique of phase-shifted full-bridge zero-voltage-switching pulse-width-modulation is widely applied to many medium-high power-switching supplies along with the development of DC/DC converter. It has a lot of merits: higher frequency, lower noise, and higher transfer efficiency. The most critical control aspect in the control technique is the ability to span the full 0 to 180 degree phase shift range. The application specific integrated circuit of this control technique梡hase shift resonant control circuit has been analyzed and investigated. This 1C has been designed not only to provided zero to 100% duty cycle control but also its practical operative frequency is over 1MHz, soft-starting current is 150 P A. It includes a programmable time delay oscillator of 2MHz, an error amplifier with frequency in excess of 7MHz. This circuit is capable of over-current for fast fault protection, code translation, driving and so on. The development of DC/DC control technique and the principle of phase-shifted full-bridge zero-voltage-switching converter are presented in this paper. The design of circuit and technologic diagram and the accomplishment of technology of phase shift resonant control circuit has been analyzed and investigated emphatically and experimental results are presented.
