With the spacing of the LED display is becoming smaller and smaller,This requires a higher requirement to real-time video capture and processing system for LED.This paper is a study of the DVI video signal acquisition and processing,and lay the foundation for the following LED display.Through the comparison to all of image acquisition system processor. FPGA is used as the processor of image acquisition and processing system,because the advantages of parallel processing. Video images are collected by DVI interface. using DVI decoding chip TFP401 to Video decoding.Image data is stored in SDRAM and fifo.And through the form of table tennis to store.using the improved median filtering algorithm and edge detection algorithm to Image processing.To achieve good denoising effect.The hardware circuit and software algorithm are studied in this paper.Experiments prove that it can realize the acquisition and processing of HD video.To the real time display of LED is very important.
