Research On The Quality Management Of Communication Network Engineering Projects And Applications In The NGB Projects

Human's exploration in the field of science and technology has brought the great revolution in the communication industry. People's daily activities have many intersections with the communication network now and the degree of their correlation is deepening. Only when the quality of the network is assured operators can provide customers with the better services and improve the competitiveness in the communication industry.After studying the works in the management, the requirements of the quality management, the main points of the Six Sigma theory and the DMAIC Process,a quality management framework for communication network engineering projects has been proposed(GCMAICS Process). There are seven steps in it,which are setting the goal, communication analysis, data measure, data analysis,improving, controlling and standardization. The quality management and the quality of the projcet can be both improved by using this process.At the same time, by combining the process with the excellent performance assessment standard, the evaluation system for the quality management of the project and the six-stage maturity classification model have been established.By grading the process and the result, the performance in the quality management has been assessed quantitatively. According to the score and the model, it is able to classify and analyse the maturity of quality management.Because of the above, the quality of the project can be ensured. And the level of quality management can also be improved. Some NGB project is used as an example to verify the correctness of the evaluation system at last.
