Baggage has always been a problem in the air transport industry. It is also one of the key and difficulties in airport construction. According to the data: in 2007 global passenger have 18.88 per thousand mishandled baggage, baggage security been questioned. However, after the promotion of baggage tracking processing technology, abnormal rate and baggage handling costs are significantly lower, drop to 12.07 in 2008, to 2013, only 6.96. This surge in the past few years when the number of air travelers, but decreased the rate of mishandled baggage, baggage handling is behind the promotion of technological innovation. With our comprehensive economic strength, Shanghai Pudong Airport passengers rapid increase in traffic, become the large airports into the world.The number of passengers as well as connecting flight soared, especially the surge in the number of bags to increase transfer baggage to Pudong airport baggage put forward higher requirements. It is vital important that the baggage handling stable, reliable and efficient operation for the operation of the airport.This paper studies the Pudong Airport on baggage sorting system, construction and airport baggage reconciliation system and its implementation in other core system interface. Listed overseas in recent years for baggage handling new methods, including Baggage Global Positioning System, check baggage self-service, etc. Illustrate the prevailing domestic baggage handling methods and their advantages and disadvantages. Based on Pudong Airport and business process, as well as implementation and problems encountered in the work of the project, the solution and the experience thus gained, indicate the weaknesses in the baggage system. Articles detail the baggage system process optimization, deployment design, message processing, and interfaces with other specific method. The entire system developed by IATA standard Baggage Sources Message(BSM) based on data for data reception, processing, feedback, to ensure that the baggage handlers on the original sorting system that allows airports and airlines to further strengthen the actual baggage tracking and control, and the design of the entire system does not have any impact on the existing system can be applied to all airlines, and ultimately deploy in Shanghai Pudong International Airport,then abnormal baggage handling and transport costs in Pudong Airport have significantly reduced ratio baggage,and stable operation, baggage problems significantly reduced.Deployment of the baggage handling system is not just a simple development and installation of software and hardware, the biggest challenge in deployment is not technology, but will involve the airport and airline security procedures of each party. Need to study the processes of each party to discuss and coordinate the use of optimal processes. So the article is divided into two parts, part of the study as well as the baggage system deployment process, on the other hand, is the key to the system interface design and implementation as well as the actual environment of the test results.According to the Airports Council International(ACI) recently released 2013 annual global airport passenger satisfaction survey report, Pudong International Airport ranked No. 4 in 235 airports worldwide, reached a record high level, but also from the side of the system by the user high praise.
