| With the rapid development of domestic civil aviation transport market, the number of passengers arriving and departing the airport is increasing which requires the airport can provide more efficient and faster service. Baggage Handling System (BHS) is the core part. Baggage induction system is a subsystem of BHS and its inducting speed directly impact the efficiency of the baggage delivery, so researching the baggage induction subsystem is of great significance.Firstly, general situation and developing trend of BHS was introduced, and then the structure and function of the whole system were described. Baggage induction system was deeply studied as following:1 For the baggage convergence in CHECK-IN system, the concept of virtual widow was proposed and two control algorithms, Window control and Gap control, were designed. The principle of the two algorithms was analyzed and window control was applied in practice.2 The mathematical model of the baggage induction sorting machine was established. Based on the speed of motor and the length of belt, parameters of motor running time were got through theoretical calculations. Baggage could be got into tray successfully by adopting the frequency converter synchronization control. Aiming at the problem that motor could not run simultaneously when motor was separately in control and loads were suddenly changed, another method of fuzzy-PID compensator was presented. Simulation results illustrated that the effectiveness and the practicability of the method which could satisfy the need of the system.3 Analyzing the required function of the BHS,BHS control system had been designed which took Siemens PLC S7-400 as the control core. The hardware modules realized communication based on field bus PROFIBUS-DP network, and distributed I/O modules were used to control the field devices. The system software consisted of two parts, under-control and host monitoring. Because of modular programming in PLC basing on equipment, the readability and versatility of program were greatly enhanced. Based on the platform of WinCC and script programming, the whole process supervision for baggage was realized in the upper computer system.Finally, researching works were concluded, the other recently problems of the BHS were analyzed and the future directions were forecasting. |
