Based On The Android Mobile Side "Integration" Management System Design And Implementation Of The Course

With the rapid development of Internet and Information Technology(IT) in education, learning requirements of people have become more rapid, efficient, and convenient. Thus, some existing Curriculum Management Systems(CMS) have been unable to meet the needs of teaching management, involving three aspects. First, the existing CMS are generally applied to the PC side, which greatly reduce their convenience. Second, the whole process management is not included within many CMS due to the lack of entirety and dynamics. Finally, all kinds of CMS are basically used in the theoretical teaching, neglecting the experimental training parts.Therefore, it is essential to develop an Android-based integrated CMS with complete functionality, simple operation, and friendly interface. The system can dynamically manage a course with mixture of teaching, learning, and doing processes. Since the mobile devices such as smart phones, tablet PC, and iPad have rapidly come into our lives. A recent survey shows that 98% of college students have smart phone. What’s more, the most favorite system is Android due to its relative openness. In addition, the reform of vocational education greatly needs the integrated CMS.This study is design and implement of an integrated CMS based Android. Java was employed as a programming language, MySQL was used as a database, and MyEclipse was applied as a development tool. The system carried out functional design in order to rapidly search information of courses and process as well as supervision, mainly resolving the problem of PC’s lower performance, highly focusing on the tasks management of the integrated curriculum, and greatly satisfying the fast, efficient, and convenient requirements.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part mainly introduces the curriculum system and the development process of application. The second part mainly explains the system design and the specific functions of the realization of the process, which is the core of the thesis. The last part summarizes the paper including the prospects of the follow-up work.The system fully relies on the mobile terminals and campus wireless networks to achieve the curriculum management, moving in the direction of digitalization, intelligence, and integration.
