The Design And Implementation Of Curriculum Management Auxiliary System Based On PHP

With the arrival of the information age, the institutions of higher learning have basicallyrealized the information and networking of the Curriculum Management. But the focus of theassessment is still stay in attendance and midterm/final exam scores. Teachers’ evaluation ofstudents’ daily performance stays on the verbal level and is not yet connected to the score ofthe course. This method has little effect but the emphasizing of Discipline in the classroomrepeatedly by the teachers, which seriously affects the result of course development、plancompletion and aim accomplishment. Thus, classroom performance must be concerned as adecisive factor of the course evaluation. Evaluation of the students’ classroom performancesshould be quantified and included into scores. These can be realized through network.We complete this Curriculum Management Auxiliary System using PHP source program soas to realize the information and networking of the course arrangement、evaluation of theclassroom performances and score management. This article elaborates the background、design、data modeling and function of the system. The system can record and quantify thestudents’ classroom performances in time and form the effective interaction among students、parents and teachers, so as to improve arrangement and management of the course.
