With the development of display technology, people are no longer satisfied with the traditional two-dimensional level. Therefore, stereoscopic video production technology with 3D display technology has become one of the hot spots in the development of digital video. Multi view real-time glasses-free 3D technology has become an important direction and it is an emergency challenge to produce corresponding real-time 3D video.The 3D video real-time acquisition and processing system captures the outside video through the camera array, and then transform to the video processing platform in real time which equipped with multi-core processor through network interface. After video decoding, image correction, parallax adjustment and sub-pixel arrangement, the video is outputted to the glasses-free 3D monitor. Based on this system, this paper does research on the lack of three-dimensional sense, existing viewpoint jump and so on. The main work includes software algorithms optimization, calibration mode adjustment, debugging and subjective evaluation.The purpose of this thesis is to optimize the existing problems in the original video processing system. System software optimization is done in four aspects. First of all, according to the 3D problem, this paper puts forward the disparity to readjust the program. Moreover, by adding outside pixels, and reducing inside pixels, making an enhancement in 3D sense. Secondly, viewpoint jump phenomenon is analyzed. Meantime, positive and negative alternately arrangement of viewpoint is in implementation to enhance the viewpoint coherence and eliminate the viewpoint jump. Then, the problem of crosstalk is discussed by angle brightness distribution curve, and image interpolation is using to reduce the effects of crosstalk. Finally, image sharpness optimization is described by time-division multiplexing technology, view interpolation optimization and calibration optimization.In addition, subjective evaluation method is studied and the experimental process is determined to evaluate glasses-free 3D display effect. The results show that the existing system can resolve some problems by the software optimization and enhance the display effect. Besides it doesn't sacrifice real-time performance or increase in the visual fatigue feeling.
