Since 21st century,3D display technology has achieved remarkable development.3D film and VR glasses with common 3D technology,and free viewpoint 3D TV and 3D phone with glasses-free 3D display technology,are more and more close to people's lives.Glasses-free 3D display technology has better application prospect,because of getting rid of the 3D display auxiliary equipment.However,due to the difficulty of shooting,the multi-view video sources,which glasses-free 3D display devices require,are obtained through virtual view rendering technology of 2-view to multi-view usually,and finally displayed on the glasses-free 3D devices by multi-view interleaving.Thus,this paper implements multi-mode SOC system for glasses-free 3D devices based on virtual viewpoint rendering,the main contents and achievements are listed as follows:(1)This paper proposes a kind of local Gaussian elimination method based on sliding window,by the analysis of virtual view rendering based on the sparse feature and designs a memory-time-multiplexed processing structure based on multi-state jumping to solve energy equation.The implementation achieves real-time performance at 60f/s and has remarkable advantage at the usage of logic and storage sources.(2)This paper designs a kind of multi-stage-pipeline multiply-add operation circuit based on 8-4-2-1 hierarchical parallel structure to implement multi-view interleaving,and on this basis,designs a multi-mode SOC system of glasses-free 3D display,which supports arbitrary viewpoints.(3)A method for judging image format and frame continuity,based on multiple image similarity algorithm is proposed,and this paper designs the function of automatic mode recognition and parameter-self-adaptive for multi-mode SOC system of glasses-free 3D display,by the way of hardware and software coordination.
