Travel-knowledge Organization And Recommendation System Based On Ontology

With the rapid development of the current social economic, more and more people choose to travel as holiday activities. Tourism industry relies heavily on information. In order to satisfy the users' demand of variety of information, many researchers have focused on building a large knowledge base system to store large amounts of information for users to query information from it. TIS (Tradition Internet System) is the information System based on tourism information database established. This system is convenient to query for users. In recent years the computing technology becomes more and more advanced, people can get the needed information through keywords make use of search engines. But there are several problems:The network information is too big to search. It is difficult to find the useful information in the huge database, and time for data storage is limited; The search engine is not very intelligent, computer could not understand and express natural language sufficiently. So the multidisciplinary research cross study which involves the field of artificial intelligence and knowledge engineering becomes a hot topic.Due to the features of ontology, as the core of the semantic web is widely used in the expression of knowledge engineering and the construction of knowledge system, information resources retrieval system. Ontology is also an effective modeling tool. According to the inferred problems this paper from the view of Ontology, to build a shareable and reusable travel ontology. And take the slender west lake scenic area of Yangzhou for example, to introduce the method of ontology construction. Using the editor tools Protege for building ontology model, that is defining classes, properties, relationships, and the instances of class. Specific research work and contributions are as follows:1. The first is requirement analysis and select the travel ontology for the study field. From the problem definition, the semantic analysis, the measure of ontology construction, and determine what needs to build a domain ontology framework.2. According to the principle of domain ontology framework, designing the concepts, properties, the relationships between concepts and the contained instances in travel ontology. Through the OWL DL ontology description language, defines the domain ontology and built the model by Protege.3. Research on dynamic knowledge automatic acquisition from web, constitute a knowledge base about tourism information with human editors of ontology.4. Making use of personality recommendation algorithm, implementing an intelligent recommendation system based on ontology.Through the above work, and ontology editing tools protege realized the ontology modeling. In the final this paper discusses the application for recommend system based on domain ontology applies Jena reasoning tool, and research on the travel ontology application for the recommend based on semantic web.
