The Construction Of The Tourism Ontology Knowledge Base And Reasoning Application Research

Question-Answering system is a new kind of man-machine conversation mo dal,compared to the traditional search engine based on key words match,it give s accurate answer,has high efficiency,posses the characteristic of being more co nvenient for users.Repository is the knowledge source of question-answering sys tem; its quality directly correlates the efficiency of question paring and answer retrieval in the subsequent stage.Ontology is a philosophy concept,it means the essence of everything in the world.In recent years, Ontology get universal atte ntion in Artificial intelligence,and get broad application.Adopting Ontology base d repository in the restricted domain Question Answering systems,we can expre ss the inherent relation of Knowledge,Knowledge organization will be more rea sonable,reduce the redundant storage of knowledge,also it benefit the rule-based answer retrieval.Ontology reasoner is an essential basic supporting tool in the processing o f creating and using ontology.And the whole life cycle of ontology needs the i nference service provided by the reasoner.Through inference, the reasoner can n ot only test the consistency of ontology,but also obtain the implication knowled ge in the facts,that can guarantee the effectiveness of the ontology.In view of these,this paper primarily on building the domain knowledge ba se for an Question-answering system,research on the theory of key technologies, methodologies and their implement.Specially speaking,this paper mainly finishes the following characteristic jobs:(1) Based on the analysis of the theory and technology of ontology,adopt ontolo gy description language OWL to descript the travel domain knowledge form ally.Then build a travel domain Ontology knowledge base by means of the ontology editor protege.It includes defining its constructure of categories, att ributes, relationships, axioms and filling instances.(2) Based on a comprehensive analysis of the current ontology reasoning system s'main functions, achievement technology and so on,it has designed and im plemented a travel ontology query and reason(TOQR) prototype system com bining the inference on the description logic and the inference on the rules, which can not only analyze and execute the ontology commands,but also be able to implement the reasoning functions on the level of OWL-DL ontolo gy.(3) Apply the technology of ontology inference to the limited domain question-a nswering system,and probe into a method of answer extraction based on the inference among the relation of domain concept.And the experimental result s show that this method is effective and feasible.
