| Recently, with the rapid development of TV industry, the competition between major media comes into heated moment. The fierce confrontation between the provincial satellite TVs is the most obvious. In such situation, how to remain invincible in the crack, above which is the strong coverage of CCTV channel and below is the popularization of network platform, and how to make TV products play a role of diversified culture, to cater to the increasing aesthetic needs of audience, this is a problem that most TV workers have been researching for and eager to solve. As a mainstay of the Chinese television media, if the provincial satellite TVs continues the traditional development mode, it will be difficult for them to break though the stiff situation. In order to stand out, they have to fully seize the profound essence of the "responsibility" and "innovation", and based on the native culture, harmony in diversity, Seek for different ways of competition with innovative thought,consequently form their unique core competitiveness, make positive attempt to get through the siege. In this context, the raise of the regional elements just correspond to the development of provincial satellite TV. The fourth chapter discusses the development direction of the application of regional elements in the provincial satellite TVs from theory to practice. Hopes to make it clear that regional element plays a meaningful role for provincial satellite TV programs practice cultural responsibility and differentiation competition, and puts forward some countermeasures for exploring feasible ways with the social benefit and economic benefit.
