As an important part of power systems, electric power communication network is the basis for supporting and ensuring the security and stable operation of the power grid, and with the strengthening of the smart grid construction, the safety problems of it have been paid more and more attention. This topic has realized the network data acquisition through CORBA north interface technology and further completed the risk assessment analysis of the electric power communication network, which is of great significance for the safe and reliable operation of the whole power systems.In this paper, the commonly used interface technology of network management data was analyzed and the CORBA north interface technology which was relatively mature as well as superior was finally selected to realize the data acquisition for the risk points of electric power communication network. TMF814 protocol was analyzed, which provided a theoretical basis for the establishment of interface adapter model, and meanwhile the design scheme of the adapter was discussed as well. Finally, from the network, the date information such as performance and configuration and so on was successfully obtained, which set the foundation for the subsequent risk point assessment analysis. Then, together with the present situation of electric power communication network, a more general index system for risk point evaluation was established. And on this basis, the risk point evaluation and analysis which included the weight calculation of each index and implementation of evaluation algorithm were carried out by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation in quantitative and qualitative levels. The results have been applied successfully to the risk point analysis and control systems of the electric power communication network which is of great practical engineering value.The running instance shows that in practical applications the results of the risk point assessment and analysis can provide a powerful analysis basis for the whole operation status of the electric power communication network and can discover and inform the risk situation at the risk point. Therefore, the results provide a reliable guarantee for the scheduling of the whole power grid and transmission of information.
