The first part is based on the principle of literature analysis,link structure and communication protocol fault information system. Fault information system is a sub-station in the station all protective devices and fault recorder via the communication protocol host communications and sub-station, after filtering,protocol converter 103 into a unified statute, by the router information to the master station,the master station receives after the data of the respective sub-stations,data distribution, communication server can host real-time communication with the sub-stations each substation, analyze data, including analog, digital, and disturbance information.The second part is designed to Inner Mongolia Power Grid Fault Information System,for the special operational requirements 500 kV EHV lines and equipment proposed design,design and functional requirements. And special requirements,proposed solutions designed information system software and hardware systems.Sub-station substation secondary equipment and various connectors meet industry standards IEC60870-5-103 communication protocols and database development on Oracle database server dual RAID function and dual communication server and server load balancing capabilities to better meet the design requirements, It has a certain nature.The third part is the failure to achieve the application of information systems,electronics company based Yinshan YS-3000 system, applied within a substation EHV Power Supply Bureau in Inner Mongolia, in-depth study of YS-3000 system,according to the network topology map, select hardware devices preparation software program and established a model of a substation, an access station all protective devices and fault recorder devices, fault simulation to verify the practicability of the development system, and achieved good results, with a very far-reaching significance.
