The Inner Mongolia Power Grid (IMPG) has recently been developed into a modern telecommunication system with various communication modes, well developed structure and multi functions. The grid is fast growing through ongoing service to electricity supply in recent years.The IMPG is expanding into a larger and more complicated grid with major cooperating manufactures devices merging into the system. Together with the getaway interface technology developing into its hi-end, growing ration of intelligent devices applications at the mean time, all positives contribute to a comprehensive management system.This paper will first conduct a research on comprehensive resource management of IMPG, including a status investigation towards current management and naming standard plus a proposed plan to follow. Then the getaway interface technology status and system module design will be explored. In this section, relevant fields will be discussed in technical aspect, including detailed getaway adaptors description, principle of the software development, software structure, system implementation, server framework, primary adaptive modules and database modules. In the last section, based on a need analysis, further issues will be discussed about the enact, functional and implement of the IMPG resource management.
