The paper mainly discusses a semi-automatic biochemical analyzing system which is based on the signal-processing technology of DSP TMS320LF2407A and Narrow Band Optical-Split Technology.At first, the paper introduces several working principles which are often used for the biochemical analyzing systems, and then it gives a specific introduction of Ultraviolet- Visible Light Optical-Split Luminosity Technology and some methods of automatic biochemical analysis which are frequently taken in clinical medical fields. The whole system is quite complicated and has many input-output parameters for hardware design. Furthermore, a real-time OS is a necessity. Not only does the control system need to monitor the state of the clinical device, but also the sample of multiplexing analog signals in reaction container. In comparison between two feasible design schemes, we selected an advanced CPU — DSPTMS320LF2407A as the core Client in hardware-circuit .In Host (PC) we used Visual Basic language and ACCESS database as main developing tool. The RS-232 is used as the serial communication bridge between the Host and the Client in this system. From theory to practice, the paper solved several problems including measurement precision and optimizing the hardware-circuit design. In order to control temperature quickly and accurately in reaction container, an advanced and wide-spread application technology —PID technology is used in this system and DSP made the PID algorithm a reality in this project. Finally programming method for DSP in client is introduced in this paper.From the result of operation, this new Biochemical Analyzing System did a great job in biochemical item analysis both in blood serum testing and in urine testing. This study has a significant contribution to other projects related and instructive value for applications.
