With the development of computer technology and network technology, computer remote control system is increasingly applied in the fields of communication, control technology, control equipment and so on. How to improve the quality of experimental teaching in colleges and universities, and strengthen the computer management of the university laboratory is an important issue faced by universities under the new situation.In this paper, the research of computer aided management in a uni versity laboratory is concentrated. In view of the problems such as the poor interaction between teachers and students in the computer experimental class, and the teachers can not manage the students' attention and learning progress effectively, a scheme o f laboratory computer monitoring and management system based on Socket technology is proposed. The implementation of this project can help the teachers to manage all students with monitoring their computers in the experimental process. So as to encourage the improvement of the quality of computer experiment teaching.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, after analysis the results of the domestic and foreign existing remote monitoring management technology and other related research, a f ramework of the university computer laboratory monitor management system based on socket technology is proposed. Through the remote screen control function, teachers can see each student's study progress and give a guide timely. Through the real-time communication with audio and video, the quality of the interaction between teachers and students can be improved. At the same time, this system can greatly reduce the work load of the laboratory managers, and enhances the management efficiency, while they can manage the laboratory computers under a batch way.Secondly, a student learning attention model based on video surveillance is proposed. Through the camera in the student's computer, the facial expression of each student is collected and analyzed real-time with the video surveillance. Then the student's learning attention model is calculated and transferred to the teacher's monitoring computer. This will assist the teacher to adjust teaching progress and manage students' learning process. So as to increase the quality of experimental teaching.Finally, the system is realized by C#.NET and Socket. The system mainly realizes the comprehensive management of the students' controlled end computer, including the computer remote connection, student screen monitor, student learning attention model analysis, communication between teachers and students with audio and video, work sharing, etc..System test shows that, the system is run well, and has good stability and reliability, and achieve the desired design goals.
