Design And Implementation Of Protocol Analysis Software Of HINOC MAC Layer

HINOC(High performance Network Over Coax) is a new EOC access solution with independent intellectual property rights, proposed to meet the needs of next-generation broadcast network in the progressive implementation of "three networks integration" context. In the developing procedure of devices based on HINOC protocol, while devices transmit some data, it may cause frame content error, data type error, transmit time error and other types of errors which are difficult to find to solve in short time, and this will bring trouble to the developers and testers. In order to ensure the devices work well with each other, and improve the developing efficiency, it is necessary to analysis and test the various frames interacting between the devices. What's more, it's very urgent to develop a software as protocol analyzer which can capture, parse and visualize the transmitting data to help developers and testers of HINOC devices.This paper mainly aims at the design and realization of HINOC MAC layer's analyzer. First, this paper gives an overall introduction to HINOC MAC layer's mechanism, such as network topology, protocol stack, various kinds of frames, and carry out the demand analysis and global design of this protocol analyzer. And then, this paper designs and realizes the capture and parse module of MAC frames, describes the concrete realization of frames' capture, filtration and parse procedures. After that, this paper also designs and implements the visualized analysis module of MAC data, describes the implementation mechanism of MAP frame's planning, frame interaction procedures and statistical analysis functions. Finally, the HINOC analysis and test platform is set up, based on which the detailed test of the HINOC MAC layer's analyzer is carried out. The test result indicates that the analyzer can satisfy the functional needs. The analyzer is easy operated and convenient, which will help the developing work of HINOC devices.
