Heat medium heater is nearly thirty years of new type of heating equipment. It is widely used in the field of textile, chemical industry, timber, etc., plays a very important role in the pipeline transportation of crude oil. Low pressure high temperature is the main technological characteristics of the heat medium furnace. Parameter control, thermal calculation and heat transfer oil flow are the key factors that affect the accuracy, energy consumption and stability of heat medium furnace. Because of the heat medium heater in the heating process with strong lag, big inertia and strong coupling characteristics, so the traditional PID control is difficult to achieve the precise control of the heating process, today, there are still a large number of enterprises by human operation to adjust the parameters. Insecure system, low thermal efficiency, high energy consumption, equipment aging and so on are the common problems of heat medium furnace.Aiming at the temperature control in the operation of the heat medium furnace, testing the operating parameters of heat medium furnace to realize intelligent temperature control, the key factors influencing the temperature and energy consumption of heat medium furnace are studied, such as fuel transportation, fuel combustion, air flow rate, flow rate of heat conduction oil and so on.The research shows that there are a lot of factors influencing the temperature control of the heat medium furnace, each factor produces mutual interference. So this design only through the crude oil flowing to achieve the temperature control, and circulating heating oil can effectively improve the utilization ratio of heat quantity, save fuel, so as to improve the heat efficiency of heat medium heater.Through the introduction of the principle of logic control, combined with the specific control strategy of the nine point controller, a new type of temperature control system of the heat medium furnace is obtained. The system adopts Logix5555 controller, combined with PLC technology, using OPC protocol to communicate, to realize real-time temperature monitoring of medium. The system simulation is carried out by using MATLAB simulation software, making human-computer interface based on LABVIEW configuration software. Through the simulation, it can be seen that the design can effectively control the temperature of the system, meeting the accuracy requirements of modern industry, to achieve the desired effect.
