Design And Implementation Of Prison Affairs Management System Based On J2EE

With the advancement of science and technology, especially the development of informatization technology, to improve the efficiency and quality of prison affairs through technological measures is the inevitable choice of deepening the modernized mechanism of police affairs as well as the open of prison affairs in Shanghai and improving the management level of Shanghai's prison.Focused on the management work on prison affairs of Shanghai Bureau of Prisons, this article designed and developed a Prison Affairs Management System, on the base of the functions of analytic system. Technically, first the System adopted UML and work flow to carry out systemic analysis and set up the use case model of the system and the technological process and time sequence chart, based on that, it offered a design on the system based upon the MVC design mode, which adopted a B/S framework and the development tool of J2EE with a data base by Orcale. The whole System is divided into presentation layer, business logic layer, and data access layer, which are all given practical implementation. On business, the System replaced a large amount of paper-based ledger work, which remarkably reduced workload of the police. Meanwhile, during the process of designing and developing the system, considering the requirement on business and institution, it can automatically discriminate many vigilance conditions and make advanced warnings so that human errors can be reduced and the police can be prompted to make standardized operations. Thirdly, the System offered the function of online approval flow, which regulated the business flow, tracked the transaction process and realized standardized law enforcement. At last, the System provided a powerful statistical query function. The System be combined with the data-base of criminals'basic information to realize a multi-dimensional and multi-conditional statistical query.After the System development is finished, it can function properly and be used in each and every prison that is subordinate to Shanghai Bureau of Prisons. The System achieved its basic goal to greatly improved the work efficiency of basic-leveled policeman as well as to make it convenient for higher authority to get more familiar with the working conditions of frontline prison affairs. Next, based on new work requirements and changes in regulatory framework, every functions in the System will be refined in time, especially the function of electronic sign of approval and judicial document will be strengthened. At the same time, there will be some developments on integration and data mining appliances, such as to implement an intelligentalized data acquisition and data mining on the base of other application systems and integrate every system on prison security management to achieve a comprehensive application platform on the supervision of security.
