At present, there is a dispute about whether the open access advantage of scientific paper is exist in academia. Some studies found that authors can enhance the influence of themslves and their papers by submitting their papers to open access web. There are also many studies found that the open access advantage of scientific paper does not exist. In terms of research method, subject to get using dynamic data, the researches on the open access advantage of papers are most of static analysis.In this study, we propose a new method to compare the open access advantage of scientific papers. We use the time of the paper being cited, viewed and concerned by users to track the temporal pattern after the papers published, then we analysis whether the open access advantage exist and what time mechanism papers follow. Nature Communications articles published from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2013 are selected as our research objects. We analysis the advantage of open access papers from the dynamic and static perspective. At the same time, we analysis the open access advantage of papers in the field of biology, chemistry, physics, geography. The result of static analysis shows the open access advantage of papers is exist in citation, views, social media attentions indicators. The result of dynamic analysis shows that the open access papers can be cited, viewed, concerned quickly after published and the attention is last for a much longer time.
