Building is the real brace of the modern social progress and the economic development, and also the indispensable carrier of people’s daily work, study and life. With the progress of technology and culture, modern building has represented not only the shell of reinforced concrete, but also the unified smart entirety whose internal information should be highly interconnected and in which the various equipments work in harmony, which provides safe, convenient, comfortable and friendly environment to users. A prominent feature of modern building is the introduction of large electrical equipments and the circuit cable, the building’s normal operation has been inseparable from the support of electrification, however power has brought convenience with a lot of problems meanwhile, heating and electric leakage produced by equipments and wires may have resulted in an electrical fire, which is a huge threat to both personal and construction.For the applicable current status of the building electrical fire warning, this paper is integrated with the key aspect of Internet of Things (IOT)-Wireless sensor networks technology, to design a wireless monitoring system which is capable of collecting data from building sites, while on the importance and specificity of electrical fire warning, the design proposal also has the function to determine more precise position of the place where alert occurs. The location function of this system is suitable for the case of complex indoor environment such as buildings, which is enough to meet the requirements in practical application.This paper has established wireless sensor networks by using ZigBee technology and adopting the latest generation CC2530chip as the core solution, the function of each part in wireless location warning system for electrical fire has been realized within the ZigBee framework.The following tasks have been done in the paper:One kind of wireless indoor spatial location algorithm with low cost for the condition of multi-constrained and multi-barrier is proposed by utilizing RSSI-range principle in wireless localization, and the simulation of improved algorithm has been achieved on MATLAB; The hardware circuit of CC2530core board, external power supply, expansion interface and download debugging part has been designed and fabricated based on TI reference design; The system software codes have been written on the basis of TI Z-Stack, including the application codes of the residual current sensor and temperature sensor and also the localization algorithm; Networking, communication and positioning function have been implemented by ZigBee technology, the host computer program has been accomplished on LabVIEW, and the interconnection has been established between PC and hardware.Combined with the advantages of ZigBee technology, the electrical fire warning system designed in the paper can collect the monitored fire parameters distributed in large area wirelessly, which can locate the monitored nodes in three-dimensional space of the building when a small number of hardware nodes is needed, while making up the shortcoming of poor positioning accuracy of RSSI-based location mode in NLOS (Non Line Of Sight) condition of the building, the practicability of the system is strong, with the features of simple constitution, flexible application, low hardware cost and power consumption, which possesses a wide range of promotional value.
