Infrared imaging technology is playing a more and more important role in the military industry and national economy of a country. More and more researchers have put a lot of efforts into the research on infrared scene simulation, due to its physical credibility, non-destruction, reusability, flexibility, diversified application, and not being limited by weather and geographical environment.In the field of infrared simulation, target simulation comes true by an infrared image mapped to a 3D model. For the lack of three-dimensional mapping image information, the simulated target is not accurate, a method for texture mapping based on color coding has been researched in this paper.Firstly, under the conditions of achieved 3D scene target models and their infrared images, we can simulate the scene models whose posture consistent with the target in the infared image in order to achieve the target texture mapping relationship in the infrared image.Secondly, color coding algorithm is utilized to extract the visible target surface texture and map to color code templates.Thirdly, a kind of fuzzy processing algorithms is used to improve the target texture and render the 3D model with the result texture. Finally,utilize the phong shading model to analyse the infrared radiation characteristics of the target and get rid of all the reflection radiation such as specular reflection, diffuse reflection from strong point light sources, environment reflection in order to render the realistic target image of intrinsic radiation.We can achieve target infared images from different view angles to inverse the target so as to gain richer, more accurate infared target.
