In recent years, with the continuous development of industrial production and the progress of science and technology, 3D measurement technology has become more mature. In many fields, such as industrial measurement, urban planning, digital preservation of cultural relics, natural disaster investigation obtained widely application. The 3D measurement technology based on optical projection can realize non-contact, high speed measurement, and has high recovery accuracy. It is one of the hot spots in the research of the people.The 3D measurement algorithm based on structure light projection has many kinds of, and phase measuring profilometry as a can achieve the measurement of non-contact, fast, high accuracy and the experimental process requires relatively simple measurement method has attracted more and more researchers’ attention and research. But most researchers using phase measuring profilometry only on the 3D shape of the object to be measured to obtain, tend to ignore the texture information of the object itself has, at this time, 3D facial information is not comprehensive. Therefore, this paper has carried out research on the acquisition of 3D shape and texture information of the object based on phase measurement.In this paper, a new algorithm for fast acquisition of 3D shape and texture information of objects based on phase measurement is proposed. First of all, the use of computer software related development coding to form two pieces of phase shift color sinusoidal grating pattern; Secondly, the encoded color composite grating is projected onto the measured 3D object surface; Finally, a color CCD camera and other equipment to be shot by the object height modulation of the composite grating. Through the images taken of the color camera are R(red), G(green) and B(blue) three primary color extraction, and can be decoded images containing the object height information and texture information. Two fringe patterns and a background image are divided into one group, and the improved 2+1 phase shift algorithm is used to get the 3D information of the object. At the same time, we can get the texture information of the object itself with the two times of the background light.In addition, this paper also describes the traditional measurement algorithm, texture mapping technology and color fringe coding method of phase measurement. At the same time, in order to simplify the experimental operation and data processing difficulty, this paper in VB(Visual Basic) and MATLAB development environment, VB language on the hardware system was used in the software were secondary development, developed a set of can be combined with the hardware system to realize 3D measurement information and texture information recovery integrated software system, and using MATLAB language to develop a set of fringes generated, stripe coding and decoding and encoding, 3D reconstruction and texture mapping of the data processing software. The development of software not only reduces the time of image capture, but also greatly reduces the complexity of data processing and analysis. Computer simulation and experimental verification show that the method is effective and feasible. It can quickly and accurately realize the reconstruction of 3D shape and texture information, and has high practical application value.
