Infrared imaging simulation is the multi-discipline comprehensive technology,which is composed of the computer, the infrared system theory and simulationtechnology. Because it plays an important role in military and civil fields, it wasfavored by Chinese and western countries research institutions. With the developmentof modern technology, its demands for people is becoming more and more strong, andits application is becoming more and more widely. For the surface of the infraredimaging simulation technology research, the key point is how to get to the surface ofthe infrared image. Although the actual filming of the surface of the infrared image ismore accurately, it is expensive and is hard to obtain the infrared image in complexterrain and weather conditions and other circumstances. On basis of correlation theory,this paper puts forward a method of triangular facet of surface segmentation in orderto set up the model of sea surface infrared theory, by using the computer simulation togenerate the surface of the infrared image. This method not only provides aneconomic and effective way, but also can generate all kinds of weather conditions ofinfrared images, so it is of important value in the field of national defense security andmilitary. This thesis mainly were studied for the following four aspects:1. The sea wave model was established. It is the first condition of the sea surfaceof the infrared imaging simulation for Simulation of sea waves. The surface waves aremainly divided into wind waves and swells. According to the knowledge of thephysics oceanography, a kind of high fidelity and less calculation of sea surfacemodeling method was put forward, which is based on the spectrum of ocean wavemodeling and the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), which realized the simulation ofgravity waves and swells, in order to meet the characteristics of marine physics, andsolve the nonlinear problem, the simulation of choppy waves was increased. Underthe environment of MATLAB software, it can generate sea surface wave grid patternunder the different oceanic condition.2. The model of surface of the infrared radiation was set up. First, in this paper, atriangular facet of surface segmentation integral method to calculate the surfaceemissivity is put forward. Then, surface element on the spectral reflection of the sun,the sky and the sea to the detector of atmospheric path radiation spectrum werestudied. Finally, in order to calculate the surface total infrared radiation intensity, thesurface of the infrared radiation must be included.3. The surface of the infrared imaging mapping model was set up. First, the regions of the surface detector focal plane of the infrared radiation energy should becalculated; Second, it needed to determine the surface area of the radiation energywhich is received each pixels by the detector; Then, the total infrared radiationintensity map to the detector of each pixel must be calculated; Finally, the surfaceinfrared radiation heat maps was calculated according to the calculation of the totalenergy of the infrared radiation.4. The effect of infrared imaging system was built to simulate the model.Considering the infrared imaging effect, it can not only get more real infrared imagesof sea, but also can provide important basis for simulation of infrared imaging systemperformance. By using the modulation transfer function to simulate the effect ofinfrared imaging, it is an important parameter of evaluating imaging infrared imagingsystem performance, and the effect of infrared imaging include many effects such asthe atmospheric transmission effect, the optical system and the detector simulationresponse effect.In this paper, a kind of high fidelity and less calculation of sea surface modelingmethod was put forward, which is based on the spectrum of ocean wave modeling andthe Fast Fourier Transform, this method can efficiently simulate the dynamic oceansurface modeling. Starting from the normal vector of the water surface microfacet,simulation of sea surface images in the infrared based on the triangular facet ofsurface segmentation was realised. By simulating the imaging effect, and ultimatelythe infrared images of sea surface get more realistic.
