As an important link in the construction of social ideology, media can convey the conception of gender, which directly affects the construction of social gender. In recent years, different types and styles of online women shows have emerged in endlessly with the popularization of network and the rapid development of new media. Hence, based on network platform, this thesis focuses on what characteristics women shows have, how to construct the discourse right of women in shows as well as what is the difference in constructing the discourse right of women between online women shows and traditional female program.First of all, the author, attaching importance to the program which is mature in network platform- women talk show, analyzes several highly clicked programs of four mainstream video websites, i.e., IQiyi, YO UKU, Sina and Tencent, and draws the following conclusion: a relatively loose medium environment and it stransmission characteristics give programs an opportunity to express the discourse right of women and expand the discourse space for female audience. However, women are still inflexible reported by programs and online women programs still pay close attention to females' life, such as love, family and marriage, and the equality of men and women and the discourse right of women advocated in the programs perform in man and woman's emotional life only. Additionally, the discourse right of women constructed in the programs deeply depends on male discourse and presents self-subversion.Through an in-depth analysis, it is found that media communicators affected by ineradicable male-do minated culture are unconsciously tied up by the traditional concept of social gender in the process of programming, for example, they usually focus on private fields of “single females”, “office beauty” and “house wives”. Besides, females turn into a major consumer group as the “she” consumption era arrives. To obtain higher audience rating and economic benefit, various video websites amuse audiences and satisfy audiences' feeling of freshness and curiosity by all means and meanwhile add entertainment programs continuously. However, the responsibility of constructing social gender that should be assumed in the programs is ignored. Under the combined attack of male-dominated culture and consumerism, online women shows fail to be carried out absolutely from the perspective of feminism.The author considers that online talk show being a critical link in the construction of social gender has to break through the control of traditional male-dominated culture in order to speak for modern females andjump out of female stereotypes in traditional media in order to establish female culture under the new medi a environment. And the private sphere of female life should be concerned, public sphere as well. In addition, online women shows require not only social and female support, but also the concerted effort of the whole society, to construct the discourse right of women. Firstly, media communicators, gate keeping programs, should consciously resist the temptation of commercial interests, improve their social responsibility and socialgender consciousness and also take the initiative to shoulder the cultural function of women show. Secondly, females as the main audiences of online women talk show should improve their subjective consciousness, realize woman's awkward position in the media and speak in public places taking full advantage of various new media. Furthermore, the broad masses of males should respect and accept female culture and constantly adjust their own thoughts to build a harmonious relationship with females in the new media environment. Finally, as for the country, the idea of equality between men and women still needs to be put into practice constantly.
