The Analysis Of Anchor's Discourse Strategies In TV Debate Talk Shows

With the continuous development of the economy,China has gradually entered the transition period,the development of traditional media becomes more transparent and free,making its TV program production more diversified,and the types of programs also make some innovative progress.TV debate talk shows meet the requirements of the times,and have aroused people's great concern.The key to the success of the debate talk program is how the anchor uses the discourse strategy to elicit the topic,reasonably allocates the discourse rights of both sides of the debate,accurately grasps the program process and transmits the most effective information to the audiences.Therefore,this thesis uses conversation analysis theory to analyze and study the discourse strategy of the host for debate talk show.This paper studies the program by using the method of text analysis and method of establishing corpus,takes "tiger talk" and "let's talk" as the corpus sources,forms the corpus covering the traditional media and new media platform and transcribes the video into text,and does research and annotation of the text.Based on the self-built corpus,by using the conversation analysis theory and turn-taking strategies,combining pragmatics and discipline of broadcasting and hosting theory as the basis,this research discerns the conversational structure of debate talk show,analyzes the program participants and summarizes its characteristics,innovatively puts forward discourse strategies adopted by the anchor in different part of the program,and then classifies the discourse strategies,and for close to the theory and practice of radio and television,designs different discourse strategies aiming at the three aspects of programs including opening remarks,debate portion and conclusion,there are discourse strategies used in opening is to speak bluntly and make a feint to the East but attack in the West;discourse strategies used in debating is the strategy of taking turns,the strategy of giving turns,and the feedback discourse strategy;and the "threestages" discourse strategy in the end.Meanwhile,this paper considers the discourse strategy of the anchor of such programs under the new media,which has progressive significance for the theoretical construction of the debate talk show and the practice of the anchor.
