The Construction Of TV Talk Show Discourse Field Of China

Basing on the theory of Bourdieu field research framework and the three basic concepts of field, capital and habitus, this paper aims to construct the discourse field of talk show of China from the macro, meso and micro levels, taking the"Tiger Talk"of Phoenix TV as an example. Recently, the research on talk show of China, almostly concentrated on the micro-production level, instead, this article attempts to place the innovative mechanisms TV talk show into a broader social context, which illustrates the influence of the political, economic and cultural capital playing in the TV Journalistic field, analyzes the distribution of different TV stations in TV journalistic field and sump up the underlying reason of the innovation of the form of the talk shows by explaining the production rules of the"Tiger Talk".Specifically, this paper can be divided into four parts. The first part, Introduction. Explain the purpose of the research topic, introducing the theoretical framework and research ideas. The second part, the analysis of the enviroment of the discourse production of talk show in China. From the extraterritorial parts of the media field, the political and economic field, science and technology field,this article studies "discipline"effect on the changes of these fields which played influence in television jounalistic field; from the media market within the Department, this study emphasize the different stations and rules of discourse of different TV stations, which plays significant effects on the form of the talk show, discribing the competitive distribution of the TV journalistic field. The third part , the case study. Emphasizing the innovation of the discourse rules of the Tiger Talk of Phoenix TV, pointing out the trend that the media discourse power goes much more stronger,while the public intellectuals become compromise of the discourse, and public comment space is expanding. All of this trend is depended on the diversification capital of the Phoenix TV,as well as the habits of the production team.The fourth part, reference.Concluding the experience of the innovated rules and look forwand to the trend of the TV talk shows of China.
