| Human skeleton recognition is the one of the basis to realize the friendly human-computer interaction. The motion capture device enables machines to understand the more subtle and natural behavior of human beings through the capture of skeleton information and the analysis of the physical information. Therefore, the more friendly interaction between the human and computer can be achieved.From the perspective of the game designers, this paper expounds the basic theory and characteristic of the Kinect and inertial motion capture system. The application field of each system is concluded and regarded as the foundation of how to apply it in the new media game design. Based on this, the advantage of applying the skeleton recognition technology in the new media game design is analyzed. The skeleton recognition technology is able to improve the entertainment of the game effectively. Besides, it can help the game player do the exercise and prevent the game addiction because the physical strength is consumed in the skeleton recognition technology-based games. Hence, the multi-dimensional demand of the game player can be satisfied. On the other side, since the market occupancy of the skeleton recognition technology-based games is not high, the problem of the application of the skeleton recognition technology in new media game is analyzed. The importance of the humanistic concern in the game design is focused. Nowadays, too much value is paced on the technology and the hardware in the game design. However, the humanistic concern factor is ignored, resulting in that the type of the game is single. What is more, the game player will not have the emotional resonance in the game.On the basis of the theoretical research, the paper carries out the design example of the "Cactuser" game. The idea and process of the whole design is introduced and the design and implementation process is researched. The different life can be experienced based on the choice of the game player to gain the entertainment and the emotional resonance. This design example can provide the reference and experience for the diversity of the skeleton recognition technology-based games. |
