Design And Implementation Of Court Digital File Management System

The existing information management system of court files just lays emphasis on the collection and transmissin of information. Although the ability of information processing has been improvd, the drawback of the system is also obvious.As the information has been inputted through manual work, it is impossible to make the information system truly reflecte offenders' real situation. Due to the defects of the system and the lack of its integrity, the information can not be effectively handled and used in the process of judicial conviction, seriously hindering the investigation,sentence and trial operation of the crime. The court file management system designed in this thesis is mainly used to help keep data in the archives and handle the case audit records by legal departments. The system is also designed to improve the ability of information processing and to realize the sharing of information resources.This thesis adopts MVC layered architecture based on J2 EE, B/S and SQL2008 database.J2EE is an enterprise application model with entirely new concept, having great superiority compared with the traditional enterprise application development model. The J2 EE architecture provides a middle tier integrated framework to satisfy the high reliability, high scalability and the needs of the application. By providing a unified development platform, J2 EE reduces the cost and complexity of developing multitier applications, enhances security mechanism and improves the performance of it. Therefore the development of court records management system is feasible in technology and economy. The system adopts MVC layers containing modeling layer,visual layer and controling layer. The system is designed to implement the scientific management of electronic and paper editions of the court files. The system uses the convenience of the internet, mainly solving the problem of low query efficiency,resolving the problem of high labor intensity under frequent query, avoiding the difficulty of court file management and the damage of the documents. The system can be divided into five parts respectively, including file management, file borrowing,query statistics, data analysis and system management. The working process is formulated according to the current national court management customs, extracting the archiving file from the court case handling system, and checking description file according to the relevant business rules. The data with defects will go back to the relevant business departments if problems are found in it. The problem will be settled by specialized material-handling personnel. The system may have analyses on therelativity of legal cases on the foundation of large sum of data, providing useful clues for solving the cases.The funtional test of the system shows that the system has achieved its objectives as expected.
