In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology, Computer Aided Design(CAD) technology appears to have been experiencing a corresponding development. Till now, 3D CAD technology has been widely using in the process of product designs to mechanical manufacturing, which brings products absolutely changes in the aspects in design, technics, producing, assembling as well as maintenance. The change, by substantially improving design and product efficiency, reduces research costs and thus, realizes the rapid design and producing of such products.However, in the actual producing, due to the functional limitations of the software in some aspects, the products have not completely broken away from 2D engineering drawings in the process of designing and manufacturing, which has seriously affected the efficiency. In present enterprises, annotations is still based on 2D engineering drawings, whose contents including the requirements in the aspects of the sizes of models, geometrical tolerance, roughness, standard and technics as well as the ball-marker of assembling models. The 3D annotation can give a more direct view to the models. Besides, the relationship laying between annotations and 3D models can guarantee the consistency between the interactions. Thus, it is a tendency that the 3D annotation can replace the 2D one.Due to the problems existing in the mainstream software that the present three-dimensional CAD is complicated in annotating and the efficiency is comparatively low, which makes the three-dimensional annotation hard to popularize in many enterprises, this thesis, based on the such problems, puts forward a set of solution, in which a kind of advance algorithm is used. Finally, a suit of more convenient, quicker and more efficient three-dimensional tools developed.This thesis starts with a brief introduction of Visual Studio 2010 development platform, Creo Parametric software, as well as its secondary development tool——Creo Parametric TOOKIT. Then this thesis also introduces the development process: by giving a secondary development of its three-dimensional annotation, updating the three-dimensional annotation boundaries of Creo Parametric and simplifying the process of annotation, we can realize the goal of improving annotation efficiency and embellished this effect. This thesis also introduces the development of ball marking tools in three-dimensional models. By a series of intelligent algorithm, quick fabrication of model ball annotation is realized.The 3D annotation tool has been given a large amount of test. And it is working stably, easily operating, which will gradually improve the efficiency and reach the expected goals. Thus, this tool meets the needs on the whole.
