As technology advances, the three-dimensional CAD systems are widely used in machinery industry, accelerating the product design cycle and improving the competitiveness of enterprises. But the foreign CAD systems are common platform, their design standards and using habits are different from domestic. The CAD systems have many shortcomings, such as the cumbersome command and the incomplete mark command. Designers often use the three-dimensional software to design models, get drawing in drawing module and then convert the drawing to AutoCAD for editing plot. The operating destroys the correlation between drawing and three-dimensional model. In this paper, according to the product design system and the product data management (PDM) in Sungrow, CREO drawing module is developed, including the development of intelligent plot systems and the integrated development of intelligent plot system and PDM.The main contents are as follows:(1) Studying on drawing automatic generation technology:Discusses the spatial coordinates and the three-dimensional coordinate transformation matrix;Creates the part and drawing templates which in line with the national and enterprises standard; Through the analysis and research on the drawing frame and the structure of title bar in three-dimensional CAD system, achiving the automatic generation of the adaptive frame based on view scale 1:1;Realizes the automatic generation of list by studying the structure of the list in assembly drawing;Completes the note of technical requirements and fixed texts by studying the drawing text.(2) Research on the value-added function in drawing part:Estalishes the auxiliary database, and achieves the accurate labeling of dimensioning tolerance and geometric tolerances; Achieves the accurate labeling of surface roughness, welding symbols, chamfer, taper and slope by defining and calling national standard symbols based on CREO/TOOLKIT; Achieves the function of format painter, the centerline of round and the waist hole,and the drawings convertsion according to the requirements of Sungrow.(3) Research on the key technology of the integrated development of CREO and PDM:Studies the information of assembly models, proposes the conversion between the multi-assembly tree and the binary tree for simplifing its composition and improving effectiveness; Selects the appropriate data structure;Achieves the storage and management of assembly information by using database technology; Achieves the function of file transfer and develop the interface of drawing number based on business requirements.
