It is vital to acquire information accurately and timely. People acquire information mostly is visual information and sound information. Video applications develop in high-speed, meanwhile it also faces some questions which must be solved. It is mainly caused by huge amount information. Audio and video data compression is an important aspect of digital audio and video signal processing. So in the process of huge amount data store and transmission, audio and video compression is necessary. The space continuity of pictures of the video frames, the time continuity and the eye recognition mechanism have provided with possibilities.In this paper, the interface circuit of audio and video data acquisition system is designed and realized. The interface circuit is designed for audio and video compression data FPGA cache and PCI bus transfer. It mainly includes the following parts: Da Vinci technology device TMS320DM365 and FPGA device EP3C80F484 is introduced which accomplish purposes of buffer and interface circuit. Then configuration information buffer, the compressed data buffer and broadcast time information buffer is designed. Internal control is added to the first and second level cache of compressed data buffer, to control the quantity of data transmission within each small periodic signal. Serial to parallel to serial interface of broadcast time information buffer is designed to accommodate DM365 SPI interface works. Next power supply is designed which consists of power supply chip's choice and circuitry design. Finally, the designed interface circuit is tested by simulation.Interface circuit is designed which meets requirements of the specific PCI bus. Simulation results show that the interface circuit ensure stable and accurate transmission under the conditions of video format and video frame rate change.
