Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall website is an important platform and one of the effective ways to help us learn knowledge of the war, understand the history of the war and promote the spirit of the war. And it plays an increasingly important role in conducting patriotism education, providing public cultural services in memorial hall, and it also has a positive effect in the long-term development of the memorial hall. With the improvement of Internet penetration and the enhancement of audiences' subject consciousness, the public are no longer satisfied with the single way to providing information resources through network platform, what's more, the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall website can not fully meet the use requirements on account of the realization of its functions are limited, such as the function of collection, display, promotion, research, and also education. All this requires the types of Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall websites to improve activities of transmission continuously, so that to realize the maximization of the communication effect.This paper, based on a investigation to 50 websites nationwide, clarifies the developing course and basic types of the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall websites and then analyzes the communication functions and the transmission characteristics of this type of website. This paper firstly makes a default of the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall website in our country on its communication effect through two different aspects. On one hand, to investigate the communication effect in view of its language type, Page View, the site PR value measure and its Weibo attention, and on the other hand, to investigate the realization of the communication effect based on recipients'awareness, attitudes and behaviors through the Web survey of this kind of websites. On this basis, this paper analyzes the communication effect of the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall websites from four major factors which includes the communicator, communication content, communication media and the target audience. Finally, this paper puts forward that this type of Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall websites should enhance communication effect through the following ways, for instance the Human Computing Interface design and multi-channel promotion, integrating the collection resources and expanding the content of public cultural services, adopting high-tech display method to realize the interactive transmission, constructing interaction section to increase audience participation to enhance communication effect.
